Finally Married: One of the best looking couples on Earth finally made it official. Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello got hitched over the weekend in Florida. In front of friends and family, the genetically blessed couple exchanged “I will” instead of the traditional “I do” as well as shared their own personal vows. The bride was dressed in a beautiful custom Zuhair Murad Couture gown while the groom looked dapper in his tux. In lieu of gifts, the newlyweds asked guests to donate to their favorite charities, St. Jude’s Hospital and the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. The True Blood actor proposed to the Modern Family star on Christmas Day last year after six months of dating. Congrats to the happy couple!
New Couple: Could Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik be the newest ‘It’ young couple? It looks like it. The supermodel was seen leaving with the former One Direction singer from Justin Bieber’s American Music Awards after party. However, according to a source, the pair are “just friends.” Hadid, who broke up with Joe Jonas earlier this month, “is not looking to jump into another relationship so soon,” says the source. “Gigi is a relationship-type kinda girl, but she wants to just have some fun and take time for herself and her career at the moment.” Meanwhile Malik recently called off his engagement with his former girlfriend, Perrie Edwards. It looks like it could be “Perfect” timing for these two. Stay tuned.
Just Friends: Singers Meghan Trainor and Charlie Puth shocked audiences when they puckered up and swapped some serious spit for 15 long seconds during their performance of Puth’s song, “Marvin Gaye” at the AMAs. And, according to Puth, the make-out session shocked the stars themselves. “At first, we were like, ‘Holy sh*t, what did we just do?'” Puth explained to USA Today, saying that he and Trainor laugh about it now. “I have a girl kind of in my life right now that I’m not making too public and I don’t want people to get the wrong idea.” For her part, Trainor laughed off the moment on Instagram, writing, “All about dat ass grab doe @charlieputh proud of you Charlie ???? #imsingle.” Too bad because we think these two would make a cute couple!
Still Together: Kylie Jenner addressed her recent split and reconciliation with longtime boyfriend, Tyga, on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. According to Jenner, the young couple are back on after a very brief split that occurred on the rapper’s 26th birthday. “No, we’re not broken up. We just . . . Honestly, we became best friends before anything happened, so I think that, that’s awesome,” said the teen. “And we’re just like, I don’t know, hanging out. Living life.” Of course DeGeneres had to clarify what she meant by the ambiguous term, “hanging out,” to which Jenner replied: “That’s it. We’re still together.” That makes sense; after all, Tyga did gift his girlfriend with two cars.
Happy Couple: Turns out Mariah Carey had a “Vision of Love” when she first spotted billionaire boyfriend, James Packer. “We first met in Aspen,” Carey told Steve Harvey on his talkshow. “A couple years ago we were at the Hercules premiere. We were talking and laughing and people were getting mad at us and stuff like that. So we hit it off.” The couple, who started dating in June, recently made their red carpet debut. And it looks like Packer knows that diamonds are a girl’s best friend. He gifted his lady with a Van Cleefs & Arpels diamond necklace. “Oh, this old thing?” she mused. “[It was] a very, very big surprise, very nice.”
